what does love mean?
Love may be confusing but these basic facts lay out what true love really means!
- LOVE DOES NOT HURT —– True love will not give you insecurities or lower your self-esteem; it gives you happiness and inspiration. Even if you go through some rocky paths, love make sure you’ll never walk alone.
- IT’S ALL ABOUT CARING —– When you love, you care. Experts have seen it and believers have proven it. Love may come from different forms but loving simply means caring.
- REAL DEVOTION OFFERS RESPECT —– It will not force you to do something unnecessary to keep your relationship alive. it will not demand nor give you uncertainty. It will make you feel secure for you will be treated the way you deserve to be.
- LOVE IS PATIENT —– You might hear people saying, “Love is painful, it makes you cry and do crazy things.” Love involves sacrifices, but once you’ve found your true love, it’s worth all the pain and waiting. It does indeed require patience and faith.
- TRULY GOD’S GIFT —– He is the source of all love. He is the reason why we know and feel love. God’s love is unparalleled. So even if things are tough, have faith that He has plans for those who deserve a happy ever after.
- OUT OF CONTROL —– Love is so powerful that it can make someone go ‘loco’! You can’t manipulate your hear, you can’t force somebody to love you or force yourself to love someone. But perhaps its uncontrollable nature will tell you if it’s true love you feel. You just have to let your heart coordinate with your mind for it to work out nicely.
- NEVER FEAR —– It’s true what they always say: “In love, never regret the things you did, but the things you didn’t do.” Sometimes, you need to take the risk but you have to do it wisely to win the tricky game of love!
- LOVE IS NOT SELFISH —– It is willing to sacrifice. Love makes you think, not only for yourself, but also for others. It means loving others without forgetting to love yourself at the same time.

ONE WAY
I lay my life down at your feet
Cause You’re the only one I need
I turn to You and You are always there
In troubled times, it’s You I seek
I put You first that’s all I need
I humble all I am, All to You
One way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for
You are always, always there
Every how and everywhere
Your grace abounds so deeply within me
You will never ever change
Yesterday today the same
Forever till forever meets no end
One way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for
One way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for
x2
You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
We live by faith and not by sight
For You, we’re living all for You
x2
One way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for
One Way, Jesus
You’re the only one that I could live for

The Prom
February is indeed fast approaching. You can see the excitement on the faces of young juniors and seniors nowadays. Their most awaited moment will finally launch on the month of February. Can you say now what I’m talking about? what I’m referring to? of course, the JS Prom. Sound interesting right? I’m pretty sure that juniors and seniors are really excited that they are now busy preparing for their clothes(prom gown/tuxedos). Why? Because it’s the time to party and to enjoy! For the young ladies, it’s the time to dress-up and wear their “bonggang-bonggang” gown. While for the gentlemen, it’s their chance
to dance with their crushes or loved ones or whoever they want to dance
with. But remember, it’s not only for lovers to have a date but also for bestfriends,
peers or“barkadas” to have fun. it’s your time to party, guys!!
Prom? Well, the shortcut word for Promenade. But what is the true meaning of prom? Why is it you need to prepare for this event? Why is it many would spend too much just for this? They even say that “you will miss one-half of your life without experiencing this”. Why do we consider this prom as a grand event and very significant event during high school life, especially for the juniors and seniors. The dictionary defines “promenade” as a slow walk, a series of walking steps in a square dance. Hmmm.. Yeah! Exactly!! You’ve read the word “dance”, right? That’s it! But we still need to expand the things we know about this prom.
That’s why we, the 3rd year students of USLT, had our growth or the prom orientation last week, with a theme: “Countdown to the JS Prom, true love waits, chastity pledge.” I’m not sure with the theme but it sounds like that. That was a whole day seminar that taught us what to do on the said event. So, our prom is on February 23, 2008. Can’t wait for this moment but sadly to say, in my case.. I’m not going to wear my gown just to dance on that night. But why? It is being forbidden in my religion (Iglesia Ni Cristo). And I’m loyal to my religion. Even though they keep on encouraging me to join and they keep on telling me that I will miss half of my life without this.. Still, they can’t force me to do that. Of course, my life is still complete w/o this. Still, not experiencing this won’t make my high school life so messed and ruined.
woot!!

educational field3p..
With the valuable contribution, this fieldtrip should be preceded by good planning. Careful attention should be given to the trip selection, to preparation, to accommodation, to trip itself, to appropriate follow up and evaluation. All expectations happened though. Indeed, everyone was glad that we went there and came back here peacefully and of course, with the sweetest smiles in our faces.
To start with, let me tell the whole happenings during our educational fieldtrip.
It was November 15, 2007, 5:30 pm when all the participants of the fieldtrip gathered in our school. We left at around 6:00 pm. kuya Erwin introduced himself as our tour guide for the fieldtrip and had our prayer for our safety.
After a more than 12-hours trip, we arrived at our first destination, Subic. Before proceeding to the Subic International Hotel, kuya Erwin distributed our ID’s. We went to the hotel to wash and dressed up in preparation to our whole day activities. After the breakfast in Chowking, we went to Freeport to buy some chocolates. Then, on our way to our next destination, we passed by the Bat Kingdom, there we saw a lot of big bats hanging over the bark of trees. Our tour guide also mentioned that monkeys are also found there but unfortunately, we were not able to saw any because they were hiding due to rain. At 12:00 noon, we went back to Chowking for our lunch. After eating, we walk around the Freeport Exchange while chatting with friends and sharing the excitements in our hearts.
It’s time to leave. Next destination was Pamulaklakin. Approaching the place, it refreshes my tired body and mind because of the surroundings which is full of green plants and trees. There, we were taught of how to create fire using bamboos. They showed us the things/utensils out of bamboos being used by Aetas way back ancient times. Though it was raining, it was not a hindrance for us to enjoy and learn. We went then to Zoobic. This is one of the famous attractions in Subic where we can see animals closer. Tigers, crocodiles, and snakes are some of the animals that we have seen.
Late in the afternoon, we went back to the hotel. Rested for a while and around 6:30 pm, we took our dinner at Anne’s Restaurant. After eating, we spent our overnight in the Subic International Hotel.
It’s second day of the tour, we woke up at 5:00 am, dressed up and had our breakfast at Chowking.
We traveled to Pampanga. First stop was San Guillermo Parish Church in Bacolor. This church was devastated by lahar from Mt. Pinatubo eruption. The entrance to the church was buried. We traveled again to our second stop which is the Barasoain Church in Malolos City, Bulacan. Having earned the title as the Cradle of Democracy in the East, most important religious buildings in the Philippines and the palace of General Emilio Aguinaldo, the church is proverbial for its historical importance among us, Filipinos. Since, women’s museum is just a walking distance from the church, we passed over and see the museum. Displayed over there were the pictures of significant women of the Philippine history and also some of the things that they used.
We then continue our travel to Manila. We went to the Pinoy Big Brother House where we took some pictures in front of the house for remembrance. We proceeded to Kenny Roger’s and ate our lunch. We are very grateful because we saw Beatriz Saw, the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. She gave us the privilege to take pictures with her. After which, we went to Manila Cathedral and Intramuros where you can find the Fort Santiago. After roaming around in these significant places, we ate our early dinner at Kamay Kainan and served “eat all you can” exclusively for us. On our way to SM Mall of Asia, the largest shopping mall in the Philippines and one of the largest shopping malls in the world in terms of gross floor size, there was a heavy traffic ahead of us that’s why we were able to reach the place at 7pm. It seems a 4-hour given to us to shop was a very short time because this mall has a gross floor area of 386,224 square meters. We bought some items in the mall until 11pm.
Then, it’s time to go. We traveled back home to Tuguegarao City. We arrived at our ultimate home, Tuguegarao City at around 9am.
The two days trip was indeed an adventurous and unforgettable experience for the 3rd year life.
bye 2007! welcum 2008!
